Which of the following best describes your risk tolerance and investment objectives?

Income Investor (Lowest Risk). I’m only interested in investments that generate a reliable income stream. I’m willing to accept a lower rate of return if the investment is relatively secure and reliable.

Appreciation/Income Investor (Medium Risk). I’m primarily interested in investments that have potential for significant appreciation in value. If the property generates an income stream for me, that is a plus factor, but a reliable monthly income stream is not my primary motivation.

Speculative Appreciation Investor (High Risk). I am a speculative investor. I’m willing to buy investment real estate that is not likely to generate any income in the short-term, but may have significant potential for appreciation in value. I’m even willing to place the “principal” of my investment at risk in the right circumstances.

Any. If I like the property, I’m open to any of the foregoing levels of risk.

Business Owner-Occupant. The foregoing risk preferences don’t apply because the property will be owned and occupied by my company.
