CHRISTOPHER T. CUNNIFFE ~ BROKER-IN-CHARGE

Chris is the owner and founder of Harbor City Real Estate Advisors, LLC. He was raised in Long Island, New York and is a graduate of Holy Cross College (B.A., magna cum laude, 1993) and Harvard Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1996).

As Harbor City’s Broker-in-Charge, Chris is actively involved in both the commercial and residential marketplace. He supervises a team of over 40 licensed real estate agents who are primarily focused on residential transactions. Chris focuses his personal brokerage energies on commercial transactions. He is also an active real estate investor and has significant experience rezoning properties to their highest and best use.

Prior to founding Harbor City in 2004, Chris practiced law for 8 years in New York City and Charleston. As a lawyer, he had the opportunity to represent a broad spectrum of parties involved in real estate transactions, including government institutions, non-profits, medical practices, homeowner associations, hospital systems, institutional lenders, individual investors, home buyers and sellers, real estate investment trusts, commercial tenants, and commercial developers.

Chris currently serves as a board member on the Town of Mount Pleasant's Planning Commission and as a board member of the Commercial Investment Division of the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. He previously served as a member of the Town of Mount Pleasant's Commercial Corridor Design Review Board. He is a member of the CCIM Institute and a holder of its Certified Commercial Investment Member designation. He is a member of both the New York and South Carolina bar associations.
